1.19.04 Ok, new update at last! I'm getting the run-around from a printing place, and this is all making me very nauseous. But somehow I will triumph in the end, and be at APE this year not only with comic books to sell, but fun candy treats as well! You just wait!

1.14.04 After years of putting it off, Kerry and I have regrettably been caught under the spell of Tom Welling. First we nonchalantly went to the movies to see Cheaper By the Dozen. "I'm a Steve Martin fan," I rationalized to myself. Then came the random shirtless photos we IM-ed eachother at work. Tonight it had to happen. We witnessed our first episode of Smallville. The show was surprisingly good, except for one major error. Lana dumping Tom Welling (ok, Clark) for a possibly deranged fellow physical therapy inmate? Impossible! How could anyone dump someone that incredibly hot? It completely blew the reality of the show for us. . . . We'll have to stay tuned next week to see what develops with this preposterous story line. I'm warning you all out there -- if you have not yet been hooked by Tom Welling, don't chance it! Turn back now before it's too late!

1.7.04 Hooray! Back on schedule. Like Superman, my dad came to the rescue just in the nick of time and provided me with a temporary scanner. Gods & Undergrads is back in action, baby! Thanks for the patience, guys.

1.6.04 My family, my friends, my coworkers ... they all love my new computer. They oogle at its pretty rainbow lights that stream out the front, chuckle at the Spiderman-esque design on the side. They gasp in awe at it's new-found power and speed. The only creature on this earth who hates my new computer? My scanner. Woe is me. I'm in negotiations to get a transitional one, though, until I can buy a new one, so have no fear. It never ends! Don't buy a 6200 Visioneer scanner if you even think one day you might need Windows XP!! . . . Oh yeah, and since I now I have a spankin' new digital camera, let me amuse you in the meantime with pictures!!
