12.29.03 My bad! Still no update as of yet. Much vacationing and
hanging out with friends and fam to be done. I'll have you all know I
do have some pages inked and ready to be computerized, it's just the little
matter of fixing my crap computer or swindling my dad into using his.
So don't go anywhere! More coming soon!
12.19.03 Hey kids! Sorry for the lack of update, this last week
o' work was a KILLAH. I decided to end the week being extremely tired
after seeing Return of the King Thursday night. Stupendous, stupendous
movie. Much fun and adventure and frights to be had. I recommend not
being in the 3rd row of the theatre when you do go see it, however. If
the motion sickness doesn't get to you, or the extreme cricks in your
neck, the misperception of the characters might -- as quoted by Lauren:
"Is Liv Tyler getting really fat?" But by all means please cheer
when Orlando Bloom first comes onscreen. And feel free to hide under your
coat at certain . . . er . . . other parts . So in conclusion, go see
it. I am also currently doing a comic for a friend of mine for Christmas,
which is sucking up my non-shopping non-working time. I'm just full of
excuses! But an update is in the works. For now get a peppermint mocha
and delight in seeing people slip and fall on the ice! (I'm at a total
of three sightings now -- but one was me, does that count?)
12.14.03 Woo winter! No matter how much I lack in the Christmas spirit
at the moment, it just keeps on snowing! Go Maryland! . . . And since
I decided that I didn't have nearly enough stuff up on here about lipstick
and how fantastic it is, I've compiled a little list here.
12.10.03 All these things I had planned to do tonight, like update
the comic, fold laundry that's been crumpled on my floor since Sunday,
and go to bed early were thrown to the wind -- instead I got sucked into
watching Unfaithful. Damn those sexy, intriguing movies! A bright spot,
though, is that I will now officially be featured at APE
in February 2004. Gods and Undergrads will be there, two of my trusted
man-servants will be there, I will be there, and hopefully I will be armed
with some issues of G&U to actually *gasp* buy!! So if'n I have any
fans on the west coast, mark your calendars!
12.8.03 Y'know, just once I'd like a guy that I'm interested in to be half as enthusiastic about it as I am. If I don't at least get with the hot guy at Caribou Coffee soon I'm totally out of luck.
12.7.03 As you can see I've switched the format of the index page for Gods & Undergrads around a bit. Just so I can get things better organized here. Or more confusing.
12.6.03 Happy Shmappy birthday to my bestest pal Matt!
Who I can't seem to link to enough.
12.5.03 I have seen Alan Rickman in the flesh. My roommate Kerry
has the best job ever.
12.2.03 Yo ho ho and a big shout out of thanks to Faith
Erin Hicks, supreme loveliest of Demonology 101 fame. Thanks for readin'
and linkin'!
12.1.03 Remember that huge lapse of time in between chapter one
of Gods & Undergrads and chapter two? And how I kept protesting that I
was working on stuff in the meantime? For any of you doubters out there,
here's evidence! "The Myth of Hyacinthus", a short comic I did
for the spectacular Young Bottoms In Love series, is up and running now
on www.popimage.com, thanks to Tim
Fish and his magnificent persistence. Hooray for Greek mythology and
gay romance! Don't forget to check out all the great YBIL stories, as
well as poke around at popimage. . . . And oh my god my links
page is a shambles, but eventually I'll get the hang of it.
